Users have a chance to win the Tesla amount if they do any of the following:
1. Start a new Flashstake of any size or duration at any point during the entry period of the competition. Flashstakes created prior to the start or after the end of the competition will not be eligible for entries. The greater the amount you stake, the more entries you’ll receive.
2. Provide liquidity of FLASH/WETH on the Flashstake dApp or of FLASH/ETH on Uniswap for any length of time during the entry period of the competition. The more liquidity you provide, the more entries you receive. Liquidity added prior to the start of the competition is eligible.
Note: Liquidity providers will receive a 5x multiplier on their entries. In addition to this, the top 10 liquidity providers throughout the competition will receive a further 2x multiplier on their entries. This is designed to ensure there is adequate liquidity throughout the entire competition period.
Flashstakes: Number of flash tokens staked x number of days staked
Example: User A Flashstakes 1,000 flash tokens for 120 days and receives 65 Dai as upfront yield.
User A also receives 120,000 entries into the competition (1,000 x 120 = 120,000)
Liquidity: Flash tokens in Uniswap FLASH/ETH or Flashstake dApp FLASH/WETH liquidity pool x number of days provided during the competition x 5
Example: User B provides an average of 1,000 Flash tokens of liquidity in the Flashstake dApp FLASH/WETH pool per day during the 21 days of the competition and receives upto 10% in fees when other users use the pool for staking/swapping.
User B also receives 105,000 entries into the competition (1,000 x 21 x 5). If User B finishes as a top 10 liquidity provider, they would receive a further 2x multiplier = 210,000 entries.
The winner of the competition will receive a prize of $38,000 worth of stable USDC tokens, equivalent to the purchase price of a Tesla Model 3 Standard Range Plus in the United States.
The prize will be delivered via an Ethereum address which will bear the custom name “flashtesla.eth”.
Should the winner choose to buy a Tesla with the winnings, an additional 2 ETH will be provided to them to help towards registration fees and to compensate the winner for providing a valid proof of purchase.
One (1) grand prize winner (the “Winner”)
Blockzero Labs. (referred to herein as “Sponsor”)
Deadline to Enter:
This competition begins May 3, 2021 at 12:01 a.m., Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) and ends May 23, 2021 at 11:59 p.m., Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) (the “Entry Period”). Sponsor is the official timekeeper.
Whilst there is no maximum entry amount for this competition, there is a minimum requirement for staked tokens to be a minimum of 1 day in length to qualify. Each wallet address will be assigned a number of entries based on the entry calculations (as stated above) where qualifying transactions are present.
Potential Winners Notification:
A random drawing will be conducted after the close of Entry Period using the method stated in Section 9.
A list of 3 winning addresses will be drawn from among all valid entries collated by the Sponsor during the Entry Period. This is to ensure an active winning wallet is selected and there is no requirement for a redraw should the winner fail to present themselves in a timely fashion.
The Potential Winners will be notified in the order they were drawn, and will be given the opportunity to contact the Sponsor in a timely manner. A seven day period will be given to allow the owners of the winning addresses to contact the Sponsor. Should the 1st winning address fail to contact the Sponsor within the allotted time, the next highest winning address that has made contact shall be declared the winner.
Blockzero Labs. (“Prize Provider”).
(a) The Prize. The winner will receive $38,000 USD in the form of stable USDC tokens (the “Prize”). The Grand Prize is strictly limited to those elements described in this Section. Any Grand Prize elements not specifically described in this Section 7, may be determined by Sponsor, in its sole and absolute discretion. Sponsor may, in its sole and absolute discretion, present Winner with one or more Grand Prize options, from which Winner may choose one. However, Winner is not guaranteed or entitled to have the ability to request or demand any Prize elements that are not specifically stated in this Section 7.
(i) Anticipated Price Value: The Prize is valued at the base purchase price of a Tesla Model 3 Standard Range Plus Vehicle, as purchasable on tesla.com on 19 April 2021.
(ii) Anticipated Prize Fulfillment Date: 7 days after the prize draw by Prize Provider in its sole and absolute discretion.
(iii) Prize Fulfillment Process: The Winner will be required to sign a MyEtherWallet message as per this link to prove ownership of their wallet within 7 days of the drawing of the winner. The Winner will be required to copy their “signed” MEW message and send it to the Sponsor via a direct message to Flashstake official Twitter account.
Once the winning address has been verified, the prize will be sent to the winning address.
(iv) Any Taxes or Fees Covered: It is the sole responsibility of the Winner to see that any applicable taxes and fees that may be enforceable within their country of residence are paid in full in so far as they pertain to the winning of the Prize.
(b) Additional Prize. If the Winner chooses to purchase any applicable Tesla vehicle as seen on the manufacturers website with the Prize, the Sponsor will provide an additional prize of 2ETH tokens to compensate the Winner for providing proof of purchase of said vehicle.
Winner must advise Sponsor in writing on or before the deadline provided from the Sponsor at the time of the Prize Fulfillment, as to Winner’s decision regarding the Additional Prize. If Winner does not timely notify the Sponsor in writing that (s)he is electing to accept the Additional Prize, then Winner shall forfeit the opportunity to receive the Additional Prize.
The Sponsor reserves the right to withdraw the Additional Prize at any time should they believe that the Winner has not validly met the necessary criteria to qualify for the Additional Prize.
Unless noted in the Prize details in this Section 7, Winner is solely responsible for all taxes, costs, and fees associated with Prize receipt, ownership and/or use.
All third-party names and trademarks are the property of their respective owners. This competition is not sponsored, endorsed, or affiliated in any way with Tesla, or its affiliates.
Eligibility and Restrictions:
It has not been deemed necessary to exclude any wallet addresses from the competition on the basis that the method to be used to select the winning address will be completely random and provably fair. Entry is subject to all applicable international, federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and is void where prohibited. In certain jurisdictions, local rules and laws may restrict or prohibit the award of certain prizes or impose additional restrictions on participation.
Winner Confirmation & Verification:
When a TxHash is generated on the Ethereum blockchain, it is completely random. We will use this as our random number generator so that the chosen winner is provably fair. The transaction we will use for the random number will be created after the competition has ended. Before we create this random number transaction, we must first have enough time to confirm the data of all LPs and stakers that are valid entries, and compile that data into one master sheet that is publicly shared before the random number transaction is generated.
PUBLIC SHEET DATA
Every entry in our public sheet will list each address and a range of numerical values that act as the number of entries of that address. Whichever address’s range of numbers the random number falls on will be declared the possible winner.
Example: if there are 5 participating addresses then the sheet would look like:
0x1111 , 1-5 (5 entries)
0x2222 , 6-15 (10 entries)
0x3333 , 16-17 (2 entries)
0x4444 , 18 (1 entry)
0x5555 , 19-20 (2 entries)
If the random number generated is 12, then address 0x2222 wins because 12 falls in the range between 6 and 15.
RANDOM NUMBER TRANSACTION
The random number transaction will be the act of sending 1 FLASH from the Foundation wallet to the FlashTesla.eth address. This transaction will generate a transaction hash.
Let’s say the transaction hash generated is: 0xe16dfdd10b3d455339daaa94e7ae1c7b66a6bf258c3603fd40c369125e3fc7b1
We will convert this into a number using: https://www.binaryhexconverter.com/hex-to-decimal-converter
This will convert the above hash to a decimal value of: 101964729038934013277040808909446018301986429761058705480953332736234377693105
If we take the total entries of 20 as the mod, then our random answer using https://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=101964729038934013277040808909446018301986429761058705480953332736234377693105+%25+20 becomes 5 as the first random answer.
We will transpose this number as many times as it takes until we have 3 unique addresses as potential winners. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, chosen addresses will be our Winner, Runner Up, and 2nd Runner Up. If the winner does not respond in time but the Runner Up does, then the Runner Up will win the Prize. If neither the Winner or Runner Up respond in time but the 2nd Runner Up responds, then the 2nd Runner Up will win the Prize. In the unlikely event all 3 do not respond in time, we will repeat this process again in 1 week with a new Random Number Transaction and pick 3 new addresses.
Using all of the above example data, this would result in the following outcomes due to having exactly 20 entries:
101964729038934013277040808909446018301986429761058705480953332736234377693105 = 5 = 0x1111
019647290389340132770408089094460183019864297610587054809533327362343776931051 = 11 = 0x2222
196472903893401327704080890944601830198642976105870548095333273623437769310510 = 10 = 0x2222 (ignored as a duplicate address)
964729038934013277040808909446018301986429761058705480953332736234377693105101 = 1 = 0x1111 (ignored as a duplicate address)
647290389340132770408089094460183019864297610587054809533327362343776931051019 = 19 = 0x5555
Which means the 1st, 2nd, 3rd chosen addresses would be:
1st = 0x1111
2nd = 0x2222
3rd = 0x5555
Please note that the example above is to help demonstrate how the math will work: 20 entries is very simplified. Any staker or LP can earn thousands of entries with no maximum limit.
Potential Winners are subject to confirmation and verification by Sponsor in accordance with the terms and restrictions stated in the Rules. As part of the Winner confirmation and verification process, except where legally prohibited, Sponsor may conduct background check(s) on a Potential Winner in so far as to confirm their winning entry within the competition.
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Entry Period.
